Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs)
Location: Austin, TX (1) and Latin America (1) 

​Autoptic FDEs are responsible for customer success, from pre-sales through implementation and beyond. Responsibilities include: ​

  • Leadership: drive customers as they implement, update, measure, grow, and improve their use of Autoptic change resilience agents

  • Measurement: build customer-specific and company-wide means to measure KPIs and ROI across areas like CFR reduction, incident avoidance, MTTR reduction, observability tool cost containment, etc.

  • Agents: build, customize, and manage change resilience workflows that leverage key Tools and Sources

  • Tools: create deterministic entities leveraging our DSL (PQL)

  • Integrations: design, construct, optimize, and tune third party software integrations

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of enterprise customer engagement leadership (professional services/delivery)

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development

  • 7+ years of DevOps and SRE tools management (AWS, Kubernetes, Datadog, Grafana, GitHub, etc.)

  • AI passion and hands-on daily LLM usage

  • BS in CS, EE, or the equivalent

  • Exceptional English communication (written and verbal)

  • CAMPFIRE values alignment.

Senior Software Engineers (1-2)
Location: Latin America

​As a senior software engineer, you'll build AI systems for pattern recognition and natural language interfaces; backend architecture for high-performance services and real-time streaming; data intelligence for automated analysis and anomaly detection; and integration with cloud providers and engineering tools. Experiences we are looking for include:

  • Backend Development: 5+ years Go development experience with distributed systems and high-performance architectures

  • Data Skills: Experience with engineering data and telemetry, real-time processing, and scalable software

  • Workflow: Tenure building tools that manage and automate complex workflows

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to design reliable solutions that handle high telemetry volumes and complex data flows

  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with ability to experiment with new technologies and facilitate knowledge sharing

  • Inference: Curiosity and desire to squeeze the juice out of models

  • Values: CAMPFIRE values alignment.
